Possess knowledge of computer engineering and software virtualization.

Support the design, development, testing/evaluation, implementation, maintenance, and administration of computer networks.

Assist with systems acquisition and integration at system/subsystem levels.

Apply systems requirements analysis and allocation techniques.

Understand computer systems architecture and perform systems/subsystems testing and evaluation.

Have knowledge of DoD DISN infrastructure, including:

Point-to-point connectivity

IP-based services

Virtual Private Networks (VPNs)

Understand IEEE standards, including:

Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS)

High Level Architecture (HLA)

Provide engineering support to address complex network standard issues.

Maintain general knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF).

Understand procedures for achieving an Authorization to Operate (ATO).

Possesses advanced knowledge and expertise, recognized as highly skilled in their technical/professional field.

Capable of overseeing and guiding junior and journeyman personnel within the discipline.

Qualifications: Education/Certifications/Experience/Skills:

MA/MS Degree with 10 years of directly related experience or BA/BS with 12 years of directly related experience or 15 years of directly related experience to this discipline.

Must possess and maintain a government security clearance at the Secret Level.

Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications and other standard applications.
