Owens Community College is seeking a creative professional with outstanding organizational communication and time management skills. Should be detail oriented and have a solid understanding of marketing techniques with a keen interest in providing a consistent brand voice across all marketing activities to specific audiences. Will exhibit critical thinking skills, strong, problem-solving skills, and meticulous attention to detail.

Essential Functions:

Oversees and develops marketing materials, from fulfillment inception to completion by working with college partners, coworkers and suppliers.

Assists with visual and written content and creation, including gathering content, writing, and editing for distribution across multiple channels as needed.

Supports Assistant Director with enrollment, marketing operations, including but not limited to recruitment and retention initiatives.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.

Excellent, interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.

Excellent project management skills.

Analyze and measure work with a focus on continual improvement.

Technology: Microsoft office, Constant Contact, Google analytics, Adobe Suite, Canva or similar design platforms.

Willingness to learn new software.

Stay current with marketing and communications best practices.

Positive outlook, self-organization and self-starter.

Ability to successfully and simultaneously complete multiple projects and tasks.

Ability to develop and maintain effective, collaborative relationships with staff and faculty.

Ability to be a team player with a flexible outlook.

Independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload, with clear deadlines.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously from concept to completion within given deadlines.

Ability to work with individuals across all levels within the organization.

Bachelor's degree

Training in marketing communications, public relations or related
