Key Responsibilities:

Food Preparation: Prepare and cook a wide variety of dishes according to our restaurants recipes and standards. Ensure that all food is prepared in a timely manner and presented beautifully.

Quality Assurance: Maintain the highest standards of food quality and consistency. Monitor and adjust flavors and presentation as necessary.

Kitchen Operations: Assist in the smooth operation of the kitchen by performing tasks such as chopping, slicing, grilling, and frying. Ensure that all cooking equipment is used safely and efficiently.

Inventory Management: Assist in receiving and storing deliveries.

Sanitation and Safety: Uphold strict hygiene and sanitation practices in the kitchen. Ensure all food handling and preparation procedures comply with health and safety regulations.

Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other members of the kitchen and restaurant staff to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction.

Menu Development: Contribute to menu development and specials creation, bringing creativity and input to enhance our offerings.

Problem Solving: Address any issues that arise in the kitchen promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to service.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a cook, preferably in a fine dining or upscale restaurant environment.

Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and recipes.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Keen attention to detail and a commitment to quality and presentation.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.

Culinary school diploma or relevant certification is a plus, but not required.
