Responsible for working closely with the Advanced Engineering Group, in collaboration with customers, on all technical aspects of manufacturing projects to ensure successful coordination with regional and global product development centers; support new business development activities for our global plants for electric vehicle structural components; collaborate with OEM's to analyze and identify new engineering programs for vehicle structures components; provide engineering support to internal and external customers, ensuring optimal design of battery housings and other targeted electric vehicle structural components; communicate relevant customer engineering information to key required corporate contacts, ensuring optimal customer service and final assembly of components; utilize and apply knowledge of LPDC, HPDC, DFMEA, DVP&R, GD&T, DFM, PPAP, forming condition, prototyping, Radioss, LS Dyna, Altair Hypermesh, hyperworks, and extrusion prints/drawings to perform assigned duties; provide engineering support for multiple activities related to the sourcing process of new vehicle structure components; and collaborate with R&D to develop and implement engineering innovation technologies into production, ensuring a competitive edge in the industry.

Salary: $135,200 per year

Education: Bachelor - Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree).

Training: None

Experience: Five (5) years in the position above, as an Adv. Development Engineer, as a Team Lead, as a CAE Engineer, or in a related occupation.

Other Requirements: Experience must include three (3) years use of all the following: DFMEA, DVP&R, GD&T, DFM, PPAP, forming condition, prototyping, Radioss, LS Dyna, Altair Hypermesh, hyperworks, and extrusion prints/drawings.

Will also accept any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience.
