Munich Airport NJ LLC, a 100% subsidiary of Munich Airport US Holding LLC, is responsible for terminal operations, facility maintenance and the management of the commercial program at the new Terminal A at EWR. The new Terminal A at Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) is a modern, state-of-the art terminal which opened to commercial passenger traffic on Jan 12, 2023. The Terminal has a design capacity of approx. 14 million annual passengers and 33 common-use gates, providing generous space for a smooth journey through the building, from curbside to for check-in, security, gate holdrooms and baggage claim. The retail and food and beverage features local, national and international brands. Terminal A is the state's largest design-build project, expected to generate more than $4.6 billion in regional economic activity, create more than 23,000 job years and provide more than $1.9 billion in wages

Munich Airport NJ LLC is responsible for the maintenance and concession management at the existing Terminal A at Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR), and will be responsible for the operations, maintenance, and concession management of the recently opened New Terminal A at EWR! We are looking for a

Terminal Agent

to join our team. You will be part of a great team, helping not only to create an attractive passenger terminal, but also to develop the Terminal Operator company with your expertise and personality.

Your Future Responsibilities

Assist passengers and the general public with questions, giving directions, providing information about flight arrivals and departures, delays, disruptions etc.

Liaise with Operations Control Center (OCC) to obtain accurate and up to date flight information, performance data on Terminal Operations and efficiently manage connected processes

Act on order and behalf of the Terminal Duty Manager and OCC

Manage queues and passenger flows throughout New Terminal A

Monitor flight information displays for accuracy of information

Ensure immediate reporting of any incidents, accidents, and failures of technical components at New Terminal A

Monitor terminal appearance and cleanliness and initiate action for correcting any deficiencies that may affect passenger experience

Maintain and complete daily log for shift handover

Other duties as assigned by the Manager Terminal Operations

Your Education & Training

High School Diploma or equivalent certificate

Your Skills & Experience

Aviation background is a plus

High level of independency and responsibility

In-depth experience and knowledge of airport operational processes preferred

Basic knowledge of MS Office

Your Skills & Experience

Must be able to read, write, and speak clear English

Aviation background is desired but not required

Customer Service or other public facing experience

Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written form

Ability to professionally communicate with passengers and colleagues

High level of integrity, punctuality, independency, and responsibility

Ability to make independent judgments based on established procedures

In-depth experience and knowledge of airport operational processes preferred

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Job Requirements

Must have the ability to work different shifts (nights, weekends, and holidays) 24/7, and overtime, depending upon needs of the department. Schedule may be adjusted periodically

Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time
