2nd Shift: 9:20am-5:20pm

Purpose of position: The Paint Technician will contribute to the success of the Paint department by ensuring paint quality meets company, customer, and regulatory standards while maintaining safety, efficiency, and consistency throughout the paint process.

?Essential Job Functions

Start up and monitor paint line.

Complete required daily documentation.

Assist technicians with problem solving paint defects.

Pass rate and paint line improvements.

Direct associates job activities in the absence of team leader.

Skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Self-motivation, positive attitude, willingness to learn.

Mechanical abilities.

Lock Out Tag Out.

Paint gun maintenance.

Paint problem solving techniques.

FANUC robot operation.

CAREER LEVEL Entry-Level EDUCATION LEVEL High School Diploma

EXPERIENCE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:

Experience and Knowledge

3-5 years' experience painting preferred but not required.

Knowledge of primer, base, and clear application.

Able to trouble shoot and solve common painting problems.

Understands the PPE required for safe painting.

Ability to trouble shoot and fix minor standard spray gun and bell gun problems.

Paint mixing process.
