Job Description:*

Sell and promote Molex product solutions by engaging with existing vehicle segment contacts and identifying new strategic prospects. Meet or exceed account growth targets related to profit and project pipeline. Align and execute account strategies in accordance with the Global Account strategy. Develop, implement, and maintain a sales plans. Identify and cultivate new market segments for long-term profitable growth. Collaborate with Molex division and product leadership teams to drive profitable growth across product lines. Build and maintain customer relationships by providing information on samples, delivery dates, part specifications, and addressing any quality or credit issues. Translate both 2D and 3D customer design changes and requests and communicate these to the product engineering teams via Team center to ensure drawings are created to customer expectations. Own PCN (Part Change Notification) management through initiation to closure. Demonstrate effective communication with internal and external stakeholders while creating and executing the necessary customer documents to complete changes within customers' systems. Own DVP and DVPR discussions from creation, proposal to customer, approval, and closure with customer. Lead cross functional technical discussions between internal and external project and account management teams. Understand customer needs and asks while challenging assumptions to come to the best agreeable solution. Lead and support the resolution to design and manufacturing quality issues, including identifying root causes of the issue using tools such as fishbone and 8D, and then implement design changes to rectify the issue. Manage customer requests and engage with engineering teams to identify needs, gaps, and opportunities and clearly and effectively communicate the customer VOC in a timely manner to internal stakeholders. Collaborate with account management and Sales Team members to develop short- and long-term strategies that are aligned with projected customer's roadmaps. Support account management initiatives, strategy, and messaging internally and to the customer. Collaborate with internal engineering teams to provide seamless communication to and from the customer. Improve Molex's competitive position through the consistent and appropriate application of PBM guiding principles.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering or a related engineering field and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate engineering or product management experience in the automotive industry.

Must have five (5) years of experience in all of the following:

Designing or selling antennas and wireless charging technologies;

Automotive OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) account management, including strategy development and contract negotiations;

Plastic injection molding, metal stamping, wire harnesses, cable assemblies, and assembly processes for connector and mechatronic assemblies;

OEM/Tier 1 modules and Tier 2 components, including body, safety, and powertrain components; and

Analyzing the automotive customer base and overall industry.

Must have three (3) years of experience in all of the following:

Developing, negotiating, and closing a sales call; and

Utilizing SAP and Salesforce CRM systems.

Telecommuting permitted up to two (2) days per week.

International travel required up to 5%. Domestic travel required up to 40%.
