Mohawk Networks is looking for a Network Operations Center (NOC) Tier 1 Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be an integral part of a team dedicated to the design, operations, and continual improvement of our broadband network. You will play a crucial part in ensuring network reliability and performance for our residential and business customers across the territory.

Key Responsibilities Serve as the first point of contact for network-related issues, performing initial troubleshooting and problem resolution. Monitor network performance and track usage to identify trends and potential capacity issues, generating reports as needed. Manage network tickets from acceptance to resolution, ensuring timely completion and accurate documentation. Maintain and update network systems through patching and IOS/software upgrades. Draft and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and knowledge articles to support efficient network operations and provide guidance to other team members. Proactively identify opportunities to enhance technical skills and contribute to a more efficient and effective network through special projects. Conduct root cause analyses for system failures and outages, and support the development of technical resolution reports. Assist in the implementation of new network components and technologies, as well as technical refresh projects. Provision new network equipment such as switches, routers, and VLANs using administrative access. In remote locations, you will be required to work independently to troubleshoot and solve complex network problems with minimal supervision.

Qualifications 2+ years of experience in a Network Operations Center or similar technical support role. A relevant industry certification such as CompTIA Network+ or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) is required.
