The Airfield Lighting Technician role will be based at our Tupelo, MS Office and include the provision of on-site MALMS Services, production and customer training. This will include an element of national / international travel.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Site Surveys

Prepare and undertake surveys of airfield lighting assets to include:

Measurement of airfield lighting utilizing MALMS equipment

Preparation and presentation of survey reports

MALMS Commissioning - Commissioning of MALMS systems both on-site and remotely using appropriate communications equipment.

Support Visits

MALMS product servicing and repair

MALMS software updates

Manufacture airfield lighting test equipment developing your knowledge of electronics, manufacturing methods & processes, product design, materials & parts, tooling, production equipment, assembly methods, quality control and safety standards

Proactively develop knowledge and understanding of how to test newly manufactured products

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Good commercial skills

Great attitude

Education in an appropriate electronic or mechanical engineering discipline. Candidates with a higher level qualification or equivalent work experience

will also be considered.

An understanding of Airfield Lighting and interest in airport technology is desirable

Ability to work closely and precisely with our clients and our production teams to allow a project to be delivered accurately and on-time.
