LSP USA, LLC is seeking Mechanical Engineers to perform the following duties:

Design and develop mechanical systems and components for factory automation and inspection systems, based on customer requirements, project constraints, and operational objective;

Create detailed 3D CAD models and engineering drawings using SolidWorks, applying parametric modeling and tolerance standards to ensure manufacturability and accuracy;

Perform engineering analyses including finite element analysis (FEA), motion studies, and tolerance stack-up to validate structural integrity and mechanical functionality;

Produce and test physical proto@types using 3D printing for design verification and early-stage evaluation;

Evaluate mechanical designs for manufacturability and material selection, choosing appropriate components based on properties such as tensile strength, corrosion resistance, machinability, and regulatory compliance;

Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement engineering solutions including design modifications, performance enhancements, and system reconfigurations based on operational data and customer feedback;

Collaborate with client engineering teams to define mechanical specifications, integration interfaces, and system performance criteria;

Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, including electrical, software, and systems engineers, to ensure integrated, functional mechanical solutions for automated factory systems; and

Maintain detailed engineering documentation, including design revisions, testing protocols, and validation reports, to support continuous product improvement and regulatory traceability.

Requirement: This position requires a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or closely related.
