JOB DESCRIPTION:

Prepare and maintain detailed layouts of processes and related equipment.

Coordinate the manufacturing launch for new and revised products, establishing goals, training team members, and evaluating the results.

Collaborate with Sales, Planning and Design Team members concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods and quality results.

Design, develop, test and/or source various manufacturing tools, machinery, and equipment, explaining and justifying the costs to management.

Discuss specifications and pricing with equipment and machinery vendors to assure that purchases meet Laskos requirements and quality standards.

Apply statistical methodologies to perform product and process analyses for cost reduction, quality assurance, and efficiency improvement.

Represent the Manufacturing / Engineering Team in cross-functional initiatives and projects.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

U.S. bachelors degree or foreign degree equivalent in

Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a closely related field.

5 years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer or in a similar occupation.

Experience must include:

5 years of international consumer goods production line transfer process experience, specifically between the United States and Mexico.

5 years of experience conducting project management tasks, such as organizing and managing multiple manufacturing projects and processes.

5 years of experience performing problem analysis and problem resolution.

5 years of experience with cross-border business practices and protocols.

2 years of experience utilizing Kaisen and Lean manufacturing techniques and methods in a manufacturing environment.

1 year of experience using AutoCAD, ProE, Virtual Gibbs or similar programs.

1 year of experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
