Job Overview L&H Companies is experiencing growth and is seeking to add a highly motivated, self-starter to our accounting team as a Staff Accountant. As the Staff Accountant, you will assist with cost accounting, aid in the month end close process, perform account reconciliations, process accounts receivable/payable transactions, assist with inventory maintenance, analyze general ledger activity, and create financial schedules. The ideal candidate for this role should have great problem-solving skills, excellent time management and strong attention to detail.

Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Supporting the daily accounting department functions

Support Month end/Year end Close

Journal Entries

Invoicing

Balance sheet account reconciliations

Monthly/Quarterly/Annual state sales tax filings

Assisting with state compliance reporting

Support the annual CPA review

Requirements

On-site, full-time role in Reading, PA.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

Minimum of 3 years' experience

Strong attention to detail

Excellent time management

Strong analytical skills

Work both independently and in collaboration with others

Proficient in Microsoft Excel
