Position Summary

The Level 2 IT Support Technician will provide remote and onsite technical support to business clients. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge equivalent to CompTIA A+, Network+, and Security+, along with entry-level experience supporting Microsoft Active Directory environments.

Responsibilities

Provide remote and onsite technical support for business clients

Troubleshoot Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems

Configure and support desktop computers, laptops, printers, and mobile devices

Create, modify, disable, and troubleshoot user accounts in Active Directory

Support Microsoft 365 services including:

Exchange Online

Outlook

OneDrive

Teams

SharePoint

Troubleshoot network connectivity issues involving:

TCP/IP

DNS

vLANs

Subnets

DHCP

Wireless networking

VPN connectivity

Install and configure software applications

Assist with workstation deployments and upgrades

Maintain documentation and ticket notes

Follow cybersecurity best practices and security policies

Escalate advanced issues when necessary while maintaining ownership of client communication

Required Qualifications

Equivalent knowledge to:

CompTIA A+

CompTIA Network+

CompTIA Security+

Minimum 1-3 years of IT support experience

Experience supporting Microsoft Windows environments

Basic Active Directory administration experience

Understanding of networking fundamentals

Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Professional customer service attitude

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications

CompTIA certifications (A+, Network+, Security+)

Experience with:

Microsoft 365 Administration

Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)

Meraki Networking

Backup and Disaster Recovery Platforms

Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) tools
