Who You Are

4+ years of automotive experience, preferably in Motorsports

Technical knowledge of race cars - Porsche exposure a plus

A leader that possesses outstanding technical knowledge, racing experience and excellent people skills

Ability to clearly communicate with mechanics, engineers, management, and other supporting departments

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, a high sense of urgency and ability to follow and execute on policies and procedures

Enjoys working in a team environment with a focus on continuous improvement and achieving goals

High school diploma or equivalent

Possess and maintain a valid driver's license

Able to perform all physical requirements of position

Ability to provide own tools as necessary

Endurance racing experience; preferred

What You'll Do

Work closely with car chief in the shop and while out on the road at race events

Complete race car preparation, maintenance, and repairs

Evaluate assigned race cars before, during, and after events, and recommend adjustments, maintenance, or repairs to the Crew Chief and/or Team Manager

Order parts and supplies as needed to maintain appropriate inventory levels or to address maintenance and repair needs of individual vehicles

Perform trackside preparation, maintenance, and/or repairs of race cars

Perform car setups based upon the recommendations and/or requirements of the engineers and drivers

Assist with set up and tear down at race events

Professionally represent the team and sponsors on and off track

Provide a superior client experience to partners and guests by answering questions during shop, garage, and pit tours

Follow Company policies & procedures in making all necessary repairs

Provide support for other team members as needed

All other duties as assigned

Maintain a clean, safe working environment

Ability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights and weekends

May be required to work long hours

Travel required for race events, approximately 40%
