Responsibilities:

System Design and Architecture:

Develop comprehensive system architectures that align with organizational goals and strategic initiatives.

Design scalable, high-performance systems that meet the operational needs of the restaurant supply industry.

Analyze complex system requirements and existing information systems to ensure architectural consistency and integration.

Implementation and Deployment:

Lead the deployment of IT systems and infrastructure, ensuring they meet specified performance and security standards.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute projects on time and within budget.

Oversee installation, configuration, and testing of hardware and software components.

Maintenance and Optimization:

Monitor system performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.

Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues in a timely manner.

Manage and maintain system security, including user access controls and data protection measures.

Innovation and Development:

Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends to continually refine and improve system capabilities.

Propose and develop innovative solutions that enhance the user experience and streamline business operations.

Identify opportunities for automation to optimize processes and reduce manual workload.

Documentation and Reporting:

Create detailed documentation for system architecture, configurations, and procedures to enhance knowledge sharing and system transparency.

Prepare and present reports on system performance, project progress, and strategic initiatives to stakeholders.

Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with IT, operations, and management teams to ensure alignment of technology solutions with business needs.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff.

Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that promotes knowledge sharing and continuous learning.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Systems Engineer or Architect in a complex organizational setting.

Strong knowledge of system design, architecture principles, and IT infrastructure.

Proficiency in network management, server administration, and database management.

Experience with virtualization technologies and cloud computing platforms.

Familiarity with security protocols, data protection laws, and compliance requirements.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Certifications such as CompTIA, Cisco, or Microsoft, REST and Java a plus.
