JOB TITLE: Inside Sales Representative

JOB OVERVIEW:

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused sales representative to join our team. We are looking for a career minded individual who is driven, organized, and enjoys building relationships while also helping to problem solve. Previous sales experience in steel and fabrication is preferred; however, steel knowledge is not necessary as we are willing to train the right person. This position is year-round Full Time (40 hours) with benefits available after 90 days.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

Starting wage: $20--$24/hour, negotiable with experience

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Process customer orders, make/take sales calls

Works to establish and maintain customer relationships

Prepare, present, and follow-up sales quotes and leads

Coordinate with operations and purchasing to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders

Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity

Generate sales opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals and follow-up

Resolve customer concerns professionally and promptly

REQUIREMENTS:

Valid Driver's license

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Experience in the Metal industry is preferred

Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, Word) and CRM systems

Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships

Strong Organizational and Time-management skills

Excellent customer service mindset
