Position: Water Mitigation Technician

Job Overview:

*Ivory Property Restoration is a growing restoration company with branches in several states. We service the residential and commercial markets and are seeking a Restoration Technician that will both lead onsite teams and restoration projects while also acting as a working lead.

Key Responsibilities:

PARTICIPATION IN AN ON-CALL SCHEDULE FOR AFTER-HOURS SERVICE CALLS

Foster a positive work environment.

Frontline and first responder for our company

Working leads for residential and commercial jobs

Responsible for onsite direction of crew

Perform water extraction and fire mitigation services efficiently and safely

Prepare rooms / areas for work activities to include setting up staging areas and equipment

Perform demolition and general clean-up

Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, washing walls and glass, and removing debris

Set drying equipment and complete moisture mapping

Responsible for accuracy of time and materials charged to each project

Communicate professionally with customers, subcontractors, and insurance companies

Document all job activity using proper forms and filling them out completely

Warehouse maintenance, stock supplies, building maintenance

** Qualifications:

**High school or equivalent degree, preferred

At least 1 year of experience in the restoration industry, required

Driver's License, required

IICRC Certification(s) WRT, preferred

DASH/MICA, preferred

Ability to safely use hand and power tools, lift 50 lbs. and occasionally climb ladders, stoop, bend, kneel, and work in hot, cold, and humid conditions

Basic computer skills (including experience with common, "off-the-shelf" software programs such as MS Office, DocuSign, Zoom, and the like)

Open to out of state storm and hurricane travel

MUST BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN AN ON-CALL SCHEDULE FOR AFTER-HOURS SERVICE CALLS

Compensation/Benefits:

Salary Range: $20 -- $25 per hour based on experience

Minimum of 40 hours per week guaranteed + OT at 1.5x
