Info Services, LLC has an opening for the position of Software Developer I (Ref# SDI714VK).

Work Location: Livonia, MI and relocation required to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.

Job Duties: As part of a team, design, develop, implement, test, maintain, and support business and computer applications software or specialized utility programs, and enhancements of existing systems for client projects. Assist in all phases of the software development life-cycle (SDLC). Collaborate with other software engineers/developers to gather and analyze user and business requirements, document specifications, and develop software solutions to meet client needs and data. Extract and transform raw data to the required format based on user requirements. Analyze and organize the raw data. Develop the modules to integrate new functionalities based on user requirements. Develop Spark jobs for data cleaning and crunching using Spark DataFrame API and Spark-SQL. Resolve production issues when they arise. Explore ways for performance tuning of the existing process. Engineer batch process incremental loading with Spark structured streaming in Azure Databricks, resulting in a reduction of data processing time. Execute migration from Hive, enhancing data accessibility and reliability for improved operational efficiency. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and produce reliable product solutions. Use of Spark, PySpark, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Databricks (ADB), AWS, Python, SQL, MySQL, Oracle, Linux, and Windows.

Requirements: This position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field. Plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation including Data Engineer, Technology Engineer, or related experience. Will accept a Bachelor's degree in any field of study plus 3 years of related experience in lieu of the required education and experience. Position requires 2 years of experience with Spark, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Python, and SQL. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience as per the requirements cited herein. 40hrs/week.
