Industrial Engineer

Location: San Antonio, TX

Duration: 6 months with possible extension

Line Balancing working experience is Mandatory

The manager needs candidates who have worked in a Manufacturing environment..

We are looking for at least 3 years of experience and preferably, but not required in Automotive/Truck industry.

Engineering degree is a must and Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing would be strongly preferred

Must Haves:

AUTOCAD Experience (2D and 3D layouts)

Manufacturing Experience (Line balance, PFMEA, process mapping, Standard work, etc.)

Mfg. Tooling and Equipment Installation Experience

Engineering Degree

Standard Pro software will be a big plus

Responsibility is to support Engineering projects developing technical drawings that help translate engineering and architectural designs into detailed plans used in building products and structures.

Their day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with engineers and other professionals to clarify design specifications, layout updates using AUTOCAD software, place and follow up purchase orders for new tooling and equipment to produce drawings and checking design drawings to verify theyre accurate and meet industry standards.

Requirements and other responsibilities:

Extensive working knowledge of AUTOCAD software, 2D AND 3d, to be able to prepare technical drawings efficiently

Ability to analyze design sketches and specifications to create technical drawings

Strong attention to detail to ensure drawings are accurate according to specifications

Communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with architects, engineers and other professionals

Time management skills to work with multiple projects and competing deadlines

Knowledge of engineering practices and industry standards

Advanced mathematical skills

ability to perform physical measurements to create layouts as required

Coordinate multidisciplinary projects review between departments and other stakeholders

Create and follow up proflem follow up sheets to monitor and guide completion of activities

Experience with manufacturing tools and equipment to be able to support proto@type pilot build constructions

Knowledge of MS office to be perform analysis and prepare executive presentations

Previous manufacturing Automotive/Truck Industry experience is a plus

Bilingual English / Spanish is a plus
