Highbrow LLC has an opening for the position of Site Reliability Engineer (Ref# SRE92SK).

Work Location: Leander, TX and relocation required to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.

Job Duties: Responsible for application reliability and performance management. Ensure high availability, reliability, scalability, and optimal performance of applications. Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to proactively identify and resolve issues. Responsible for system architecture and automation. Design and implement scalable, secure and resilient system architectures that meet business and technical requirements. Automate deployment processes, configuration management, and infrastructure provisioning using CI/CD pipelines. Ensure security and compliance measures are effectively implemented in application environments. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment of application updates. Collaborate with development teams to refine and enhance build, test, and deployment processes. Integrate applications with third-party APIs and microservices for seamless functionality. Ensure front-end applications are optimized for responsiveness, accessibility, and performance. Involved in cloud and infrastructure management. Deploy, configure, and maintain applications in cloud platforms. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to manage cloud resources efficiently. Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost-effectiveness while ensuring high availability and scalability. Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks for both front-end and back-end components. Conduct root cause analysis to diagnose system failures and implement corrective measures. Continuously optimize application environments for better performance, security, and scalability. Responsible for application monitoring, logging, and incident management. Utilize monitoring and logging tools for real-time system insights. Develop proactive alerting mechanisms to address performance and reliability issues before they escalate. Establish incident response protocols and collaborate with teams to quickly mitigate system disruptions. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployments. Document best practices, system configurations, and incident resolutions for knowledge sharing. Use of DevOps, Jenkins, GIT, Docker, Kubernetes, Splunk, New Relic, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Requirements: This position requires a Masters degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field. Plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation including Software Engineer or related experience. Position requires 2 years of experience with DevOps, Jenkins, Docker, and AWS. 40hrs/week.
