Hi Power Electric is growing fast, and we're looking for a knowledgeable Journeyman Wireman who enjoys teaching, mentoring, and helping apprentices build their skills.

Key Responsibilities

Classroom Instruction: Teach electrical theory, NEC topics, and hands-on skills in structured classroom settings.

Hands-On Training: Conduct monthly and 8-week practical labs to reinforce learning.Run quarterly shop classes

Support apprentices in the field with on-site coaching

Provide feedback, evaluate progress, and help apprentices stay on track

Develop or update lesson plans and training materials

Partner with Operations to ensure apprentices are learning skills aligned to job-site needs

Requirements:

Licensure: Minimum Journeyman Wireman (JW) license required

Instructor experience preferred but not required

Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of NEC, electrical systems, and construction practices.

Passion for coaching and developing others

Strong communication skills

Preferred: OSHA safety certifications, experience in adult education.
