Job duties: Perform dynamic testing, coordination and review of driven piles and drilled shafts using a Pile Driving Analyzer (PDA) system and the CAPWAP program. Monitor hammer/driving system performance, pile driving stresses, pile structural integrity, soil mechanics analysis and pile ultimate static bearing capacity analysis, using the CAPWAP software program and GRLWEAP wave equation analysis program. Test of pile structural integrity using the Pile Integrity Tester (PIT), Cross-Hole Analyzer (CHA), and the Thermal Integrity Profiler (TIP) for non-destructive testing and assessments of shafts and ACIP piles. Analyze collected data and preparing reports for clients. Construction plan and geotechnical report review and monitoring to ensure pile quality and compliance requirements. Contract negotiations and project management for pile projects. Remote work/telecommuting is acceptable from anywhere in the U.S. Travel nationally and internationally between 40%-50% of the time to unanticipated client sites and HQ in Solon, Ohio

Requirements: Must have Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and 5 years of experience as a Civil Engineer, including 5 years of experience with Foundation Testing and Analysis and 6 months of experience with international offshore pile testing. Remote work/telecommuting is acceptable from anywhere in the U.S. Must be willing to travel nationally and internationally between 40%-50% of the time to unanticipated client sites and HQ in Solon, Ohio.
