Job Summary: The Accounting Intern will support most (or all) Finance department members. The Intern will be assigned duties that provide meaningful practical hands-on experience across the areas of accounts payable, accounts receivable, general accounting, managerial reporting, accounting systems (SAP, Concur, Docuware, etc.), and special projects. The Intern will have the opportunity to gain practical knowledge and basic skills across the accounting spectrum. Experience will be obtained through training and hands-on responsibility for a variety of tasks within a thriving and rapidly growing Food Production environment.

In addition to general, on-going responsibilities and support, the Intern will provide support for at least one special project. The intern will work collaboratively with accounting staff or other necessary contributors to move the project forward and, ideally, completion before summer's end.

Job Responsibilities / Projects:- Support SAP related accounting initiatives, such as exploring and implementing automation opportunities within the SAP environment- Support the Finance Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Team as needed with projects and tasks- Responsibility for select Accounts Payable activities- Responsibility for select Accounts Receivable activities- Support for/ responsibility for tasks as assigned by the Sr. Accountant (e.g., fixed assets, bank reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, corporate credit card, managerial reporting...)- Comply with all Company rules, regulations, and policies- Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Additional Skills:- Must be 18 years of age or older - Candidate must be completing either their Sophomore, Junior or Senior year at an accredited university while working towards a bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting- Candidate must be in good standing at their college or university as a full-time undergraduate or graduate student- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite - especially Excel- Strong analytical thinking skills and quick acclimation to systems- Willingness to perform a variety of tasks necessary to support the organization- Learn quickly and work well independently- Collaborate, communicate and work effectively in a team environment- Works with assigned priorities, projects and timelines concurrently- Effectively present information to team members and management

Travel:- This position will not require travel

Work Environment: - This role will sit in our Pleasant Prairie corporate office- The Good Foods Finance team operates on a hybrid schedule with 3-4 days in office each week - Typical office environment- Offices with equipment noise- Offices with frequent interruptions- Mostly indoor office environment with windows- If in the plant, required to use personal protective equipment (PPE) to enforce Good Food Manufacturing (GMP's) processes

Physical Requirements:- Standing, walking, kneeling and bending- May climb steps to and from work and break areas- Use hands to find, handle, touch and manipulate items- Speak and/or hear- Stand for extended periods, walk and reach with hands or arms- Occasionally stoop, reach, crouch, and twist- Have vision abilities to include proximate vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus as well as be able to effectively see and process computer generated images on a screen
