Front Range Staffing is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist with 2+ years of experience.

Pay: $19--$21/hour

Schedule: Monday--Friday, 7:00 AM -- 4:00 PM

In Person/Remote/Hybrid: In Person

The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for processing vendor invoices, preparing payment runs, and ensuring accuracy and compliance in all AP transactions within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This role manages electronic invoice workflows, maintains organized documentation, and supports bi-weekly payment runs that require timely and accurate preparation. The position works closely with internal accounting staff to ensure proper approvals, verification, and financial controls.

Daily responsibilities include managing incoming invoices via email, organizing documents in a shared drive, processing invoices, responding to vendor inquiries, and assisting with payment preparation cycles.

An ideal candidate for this company would possess the following skills and experience:

2+ years of dedicated Accounts Payable experience

Experience processing 20--45+ invoices daily with accuracy (higher volume during catch-up periods)

Strong experience with invoice processing, coding, matching, and reconciliation

Ability to work within a structured, process-driven environment using documented procedures and training materials

Experience preparing for bi-weekly payment runs, including organizing, verifying, and compiling invoices under tight deadlines

Familiarity with ACH payments and paper checks

Strong attention to detail and ability to catch discrepancies before final approval

Experience working within segregation of duties environments

Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems Microsoft Dynamics experience is a plus; Sage or similar ERP systems a must

Ability to learn new systems quickly and navigate unfamiliar software
