Responsible for providing engineering support to customers and sales on technical, design, and commercial issues and opportunities on products targeted for growth in America; develop and implement new proprietary products; responsible for product launches via the APQP process, ensuring a successful outcome; lead the equipment development team regarding new process development in coordination with the project team; address the technical and commercial needs of our automotive and industry market segments; drive sales effectiveness, increase revenue, and support the development of corporate sales tools to enhance market share; develop strong relationships with customers; maintain responsibility for interdivisional and global program coordination, requiring effective communication and coordination with internal functions, including quality, manufacturing, financials, purchasing, engineering, and management, as well as Global Production Partners; participate in global technology transfers between and among Freudenberg NOK Group; utilize elastomeric and PTFE product design and application, synthetic polymer processing engineering, DVP&R, static and dynamic sealing, project management, strategic pricing, CRM, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, process development, FMEA, and Six Sigma to perform duties; conduct market analysis for specific segments, evaluating market potential, share, positioning, trends, and target accounts, and providing comprehensive analyses of major competitors; furnish and update corporate marketing and project information for the monthly management presentation; design and develop new proprietary products, including FEA, DFMEA, drawings, and proto@types; develop, maintain, and communicate timelines with customers and internal departments, and ensure they are met; responsible for DVP&R and PV testing requirements, APQP activities, and task assignments to team members; ensure compliance with timelines established for customers and internal departments; and quote new proprietary products, collaborating closely with the salesforce and customers to attain target margins.

Salary: $108,418 per year;

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering Management, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree);

Experience: Two (2) years in the position above, as an Engineering Manager, as a Mechanical Engineer, as a Process Engineer, as a Product Engineer, or in a related occupation;

Other Requirements: Experience must include two (2) years' use of all the following: elastomeric and PTFE product design and application, synthetic polymer processing engineering, DVP&R, static and dynamic sealing, project management, strategic pricing, CRM, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, process development, FMEA, and Six Sigma.
