POSITION:Equinix, Inc. has multiple openings for a Machine Learning Engineer in Frisco, TX.

Duties:Responsible for exploring and analyzing data across the enterprise and presenting information and key insights that support the organization's strategies. Take direction from lead data scientists and MLEs to improve organizational effectiveness with enhanced or new analysis techniques and insights. Interact regularly with the team in reviewing current solutions, results and evolving models in ensuring results are fine-tuned. Participate in brainstorming sessions to understand various internal/external factors that can impact the analysis. Analyze and propose innovative solutions to better align with Equinix enterprise information standards and strategies. Apply knowledge in design, development, implementation and management of data sources. Utilize statistical models, algorithms and machine learning models in designing the solution. Develop technical skills in exploring and analyzing data across the enterprise and presents information and key insights that support the organization's growth and sustain strategies. Document project deliverables in collaboration with teams and business users. Understand and develop data sources and data architectures to address business requirements. Follow industry trends and vendor capabilities to produce robust functional designs. Build solutions to bring data from various source systems both internal and external to Equinix. Understand the business problem and technical design and develops test cases in alignment. Collaborate with senior BSAs and technical team to develop test cases. Manage end-to-end delivery of enhancements. Plan the delivery cycle in line with release goals. Learn and work with scripting/programming languages in developing solutions. Develop compelling data visualizations, dashboards, tools and utilities using Open-Source technologies. Organize data in visually innovative ways to make it easy to understand for stakeholders and technical team at the same time. Extract and manipulate large datasets using standard tools. Analyze and clean data needed for various data science projects.Communicate data patterns identified in both internal and external data using various wrangling techniques. Help in data discovery and evolving use cases to identify prediction/prescriptive solutions. May telecommute.

Requirements:Employer will accept a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Analysis, Machine Learning, Engineering, or a related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a machine engineering-related occupation. Alternatively, employer will accept a Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Analysis, Machine Learning, Engineering, or a related field.
