Employment Solutions is currently seeking an Electrical Engineer for a growing and innovative manufacturing client located in Horseheads, NY. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to work on the design and testing of electrical systems installed in newly manufactured fire apparatus vehicles.

This is an ideal role for someone with a degree in Electrical Engineering and a strong interest in product development and hands-on design work.

Salary: $51,000 per year Shifts Available:

1st Shift: 6:00 AM -- 2:30 PM

2nd Shift: 2:00 PM -- 10:30 PM

Schedule: Monday--Thursday & Friday hours as needed

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and validate electrical systems and components for custom fire apparatus vehicles.

Create product specifications, process validation plans, and detailed part drawings.

Use CAD software to model components including harnesses, controllers, light bars, batteries, and consoles.

Apply mathematical and engineering principles to test and verify system designs.

Collaborate with senior engineers and production teams to ensure product requirements are met.

Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for design issues.

Participate in engineering change processes and maintain supporting documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).

0--2 years of experience in electrical design or product development.

Proficiency in CAD software and familiarity with CAE tools.

Understanding of design analysis, prototyping, and test validation.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).

Able to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with vehicle electrical systems or fire apparatus equipment.

Experience with root cause analysis and statistical process techniques.

Previous exposure to quality assurance or manufacturing environments.
