Summer 2026 Engineering Internship

Job Summary:

East/West Industries is looking for current student seeking real-world experience. This position will have the opportunity to work with and learn from the Engineering team.

Essential Functions:

Support engineering activities such as research, design, test, modification, fabrication, and assembly of mechanical products.

Develop and execute test plans to validate new design

Perform failure root cause analysis

Communicate plans, status, and results to senior engineers

Write technical reports

Knowledge of manufacturing test, development, and diagnostic equipment.

Implement ECR changes onto drawings. Assist with releasing DWGs and ECRs.

Help with documentation control tasks (scanning, drawing, filing) and develop new drawings.

Support of ad hoc engineering activities.

Qualifications/Minimum requirements

Rising seniors preferred, working towards a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline, and currently enrolled to complete desired degree.

Pursuant to a government contract, this position requires US citizenship status.

Be available to work full time (40 hours per week) for a minimum of 8 weeks, during the summer 2026 preferred.

Effectively communicate both verbally and written.
