Description:

Our client has an immediate need for a Senior Business Systems Analyst, who will collaborate closely with product owners, business analysts, and developers to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions

Required Skills & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, in a related field, or 6+ years work experience

Strong technical background, with the ability to bridge business and technology requirements

Proficiency in SQL for writing and executing queries

Experience with data analysis across relational and non-relational databases (Oracle and MongoDB)

Familiarity with Java-based environments

Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and working in a distributed team setup

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Payments industry experience (highly preferred)

Hands-on experience with the Icon Payments Framework (major plus)

Previous development background for deeper technical collaboration

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with product owners, BAs, and developers to capture and refine business requirements

Translate business needs into technical specifications and actionable development tasks

Participate in the full SDLC, including design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support

Work within an Agile team across distributed locations, contributing to ceremonies and iterative development

Assist in building and enhancing payment components, leveraging the Icon Payments Framework

Write and run SQL queries for data analysis and troubleshooting

Conduct analysis against multiple data sources, primarily Oracle and MongoDB

Support production issues as needed, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact to operations
