As a Marketing Content Specialist, you will be responsible for producing content for various online outlets to support customer deliverables that maintain the Chris-Craft brand image.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  Work with marketing team to coordinate day-to-day activities that lead to the completion of projects and tasks

  Create, maintain and strengthen Company's overall brand in all forms of media creation, specializing in digital content.

  Assist the Digital Marketing Manager with content creation for our website and subsidiary sites to ensure that they are current, dynamic, and relevant.

  Consider new ways to further develop our website to make it a better selling tool

  Help develop media content to support our marketing, sales, and customer service deliverables

  Actively manage and promote our social media by planning and producing various content @types

  Provide graphic design support to marketing team

  Write copy for a variety of media including social, print, video, and online

  Manage the online dealer co-op claim program

  Assist the team in development and execution of corporate events and boat shows (Chris-Craft dealer meeting, corporate shows, trainings, shows)

  Work toward the accomplishment of the department's organizational goals by taking ownership of new and different initiatives

  Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Education

  Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field highly preferred.

  Consideration will be given for strong relevant work experience.

Experience/Skills

  2 years proven work experience in a related role

  Good written and verbal communication skills

  Excellent grammar, writing, copy-editing and communication skills, including the ability to adapt writing style to appeal to different audiences and adhere to established brand voices.

  Previous experience in writing for the web.

  Proficient in Adobe Suite Products

  Natural curiosity, strong research skills and enthusiasm for learning about new topics.

  Familiarity with SEO and analytics reporting tools, to aid in content strategy and creation.

  Basic HTML coding ability and understanding of WordPress and other content management system (CMS) platforms.

  Work experience with video creation and editing

  Strong attention to detail

  A deep understanding of how content can drive cross-channel business value.

  Strong critical thinking skills.

  Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

  Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

  Must interface well with other employees and departments throughout Chris Craft as well as outside vendors, dealers and retail customers
