Build, maintain, and execute ETL operations within the current knowledge-engineering systems for healthcare navigation and data pipelines on Airflow/Kubernetes/Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Collaborate closely with top-tier data scientists and architects to design and implement technical solutions. Utilize machine learning (ML) techniques to enhance personalization capabilities, providing personalized healthcare recommendations and navigation experiences. Analyze large datasets using advanced data mining techniques to uncover hidden patterns, trends, and relationships that drive business value and inform strategic decision-making. Extract insights from large datasets in Google BigQuery (BQ) and create compelling data visualizations and reports using Python/Tableau to evaluate app features and improve customer experiences. Present actionable insights to stakeholders to facilitate data-driven decision-making processes. Write well-tested, scalable, highly available, and maintainable code, collaborating with engineers and data scientists to optimize processes and enhance system performance. Contribute to ideation sessions and product discussions, taking ownership of new initiatives and championing them through to completion. Interact cross-functionally with other teams, including product, UX designers, researchers, and leadership, to solve complex problems. Independently lead large data science and data engineering initiatives, writing technical design documents and Confluence 'How-To's for efficiency. Conduct code reviews within a team to ensure robust, easily maintainable code.

Education Required: Master's or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related field (e.g. Information Management and Systems).

Experience: 6 months of experience in job offered or related occupation.

Special Requirements: Must have at least 6 months of prior work experience in each of the following:

Conducted quantitative analysis of health-related data in SPSS and Python using data processing, cleaning, and mining techniques to segment user populations and identify optimal subsets for subsequent analysis.

Utilized SPSS and Python for statistical analysis and visualization creation, including regression analysis.

Developed data visualizations using SPSS and Python to illustrate the conclusions of the analysis on how various parameters impact the health and/or well-being of groups.

Unraveled data-driven actionable steps to take to improve the mental health, physical health, and/or well-being of the identified subpopulations, offering insights for the design of personalized notifications.
