Perform mechanical engineering design and prototyping of automotive components (such as body interior components, switch, pedals, valves, and solenoids for fuel system and engine thermal system) supplied to the automotive industry while using computer design software programs such as AutoCAD, CATIA, and Creo

Develop and test various multifaceted automotive component models and alternate designs using mechanical engineering testing procedures such as fatigue testing, tensile testing, and model validation in order to assess sustainability and operation effects

Prepare automotive component design, installation, and operation based on mechanical engineering principles to ensure both client and governmental regulatory specifications are met and operating at full capacity

Evaluate potential new applications for proto@types and beta automotive components while testing for feasibility, design, operation, and performance, and ensure continuous improvement and quality control of existing automotive component products and designs

Examine automotive component design difficulties or failures to diagnose faulty operations and recommend remedial actions in order to implement timely, effective, and efficient mechanical engineering resolutions

Research and analyze automotive customer design proposals and specifications to determine feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements for automotive components

Coordinate activities and confer with other mechanical engineers and validation engineers to implement engineering design procedures and resolve any design problems of automotive components

A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or Mechatronics Engineering is required (a Foreign Educational Equivalent is acceptable); however, Bitron Marketing USA Inc. will also accept a U.S. Single-Source Bachelor's Degree Equivalent based on a three year or four year Bachelor degree, through any combination of education, degrees, diplomas, and/or certificates as determined by a professional evaluation service, or any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.

Also required is 24 months of experience as a Research and Design Mechanical Design Engineer, Process Engineer, or Test Engineer. Education, training, or experience (which may have been gained concurrently) must include at least 12 months of demonstrated ability in utilizing the following computer design software programs: AutoCAD; CATIA; and Creo. Limited domestic and international travel to clients' sites in the United States, Mexico, and Italy is required.
