Starting Rate: $20.46 / hourSchedule: Monday - Friday, 7am-3pm (hours flexible within business operation needs)This is an on-site, local position in Western New York

POSITION SUMMARY:The Information Technology (IT) Specialist supports the Director of Information Technology in the effective operation and administration of the agency's technology environment. This role is responsible for managing helpdesk requests, delivering technical support and training to staff, performing system maintenance, and ensuring the security and reliability of hardware, software, and network systems across the organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide timely and professional technical support to staff both on-site and remotely.

Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, networks, printers, and scanners.

Diagnose and resolve a wide range of hardware and software issues.

Repair or replace components, equipment, and peripherals as needed.

Conduct user training sessions, including onboarding for new hires and refresher sessions for existing staff.

Administer and maintain Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and related infrastructure.

Manage user accounts, security permissions, and group policies to safeguard agency data.

Troubleshoot telecommunication issues and maintain proper operation of phone and voicemail systems.

Collaborate on department-wide IT projects, including system upgrades, network improvements, and technology rollouts

Track, inventory, and manage technology assets and equipment lifecycle.

Maintain up-to-date documentation for systems, configurations, and IT procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Preferred: Continuing education in technology field and/or Bachelor's degree or certifications in related field

Required: High school diploma

Possession of a valid New York State Driver's license in good standing and reliably insured vehicle.

Ability and willingness to travel on work assignments

Willingness to work additional hours during the week and/or weekend, if required.
