Bait Pile Restaurant/Deli is seeking motivated and dependable individuals to join our team as Cooks and Food Preparation Staff. This is a unique opportunity to be part of reopening a local restaurant and helping prepare the business for a successful launch.

Because the Bait Pile is not currently open, hired individuals may have the opportunity to assist with a variety of tasks needed to prepare the facility for opening day before transitioning into their regular kitchen and food preparation roles.

Position Responsibilities

Pre-Opening Activities

Assisting with cleaning, organizing, and preparing the restaurant for opening

Setting up kitchen workstations and storage areas

Assisting with inventory organization and stocking supplies

Supporting general restaurant readiness projects as needed

Cook & Food Preparation Duties

Preparing ingredients and food items according to established recipes and standards

Cooking and assembling menu items

Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen

Washing dishes and cleaning food preparation areas as needed

Assisting with inventory management and food storage

Ensuring food quality and presentation standards are met

Following all food safety and health regulations

Qualifications

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented

Willingness to assist with restaurant setup and preparation activities

Previous cooking, food preparation, or restaurant experience preferred but not required

Strong work ethic and positive attitude

Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
