1.0JOB TITLE:Inside Sales

2.0REPORTS TO:Inside Sales Manager

3.0JOB OVERVIEW:Manage and coordinate all direct sales efforts specifically with outside salesmanager, Order Entry and Customer Service Dept. but also with all other departments.

4.0RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

? Address all incoming requests for quotes from customers/prospects by validating projects per predefined standard constructions, or with the assistance of Engineering/Design Dept.

? Create sales quotes for valid projects in accounting software using a list of attributes.

? Must have a working knowledge of all products manufactured by Backer Marathon to effectively offer product education and competitive pricing within the appropriate markets.

? Maintain internal relationships to help manage product development to help increase annual sales and set pricing and discount policies.

? Create and maintain Sales Opportunity records in CRM for all new prospects, non-standard designs, customer submitted samples, and/or large volume projects.

? Help create and maintain all procedures for Sale Dept and have a working knowledge of Order Entry and Customer Service procedures.

? Guide Order Entry and Customer Service with customer technical and/or pricing inquiries.

? Review and help maintain product stock list pricing for website use and suggest product additions and/or deletions.

5.0ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

IMS policy and objectives.

Help conserve energy and water

Reuse or Reduce use of printed orders, drawing, and/or other documentation

Recycle program (separate materials and dispose of correctly)

Emergency Evacuation Plan knowledge and practice.

6.0QUALIFICATIONS:

Some college and/or equivalent work experience

Sales or Customer Service experience

Excellent verbal and written communication

English (required): Spanish (preferred)
