Lead Physical Security Technician

Location: Multiple Job Sites (Based in Ohio, with occasional out-of-state travel)

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay: $22.00 -- $40.00/hour

Schedule: Day Shift

Job Description

Axiom Solutions is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Physical Security Technician to support the installation and maintenance of electronic security systems. This includes surveillance systems (CCTV), access control, intercoms, and associated network and electrical components. The ideal candidate will be capable of leading job sites, supervising technicians, ensuring code compliance, and communicating effectively with clients.

Job Duties

Install and service access control systems, surveillance cameras (IP/CCTV), intercoms, maglocks, REX sensors, and door strikes

Perform wire routing, pulling, and terminations for low-voltage systems

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and installation manuals

Troubleshoot electrical, network, or hardware-related issues

Create project documentation and update as-built drawings (CAD/Visio preferred)

Supervise and mentor junior technicians on site

Ensure safety procedures and installation standards are followed

Travel to job sites across Ohio and occasionally out of state

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED

Minimum 4 years of experience in physical security or low-voltage systems

Valid driver's license with clean driving record

Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work on ladders or in confined spaces

Must pass a drug test and background check

Able to work independently and lead a small team

Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
