As an Appliance Repair Technician, you are a key member of our team responsible for working in the field diagnosing and repairing a full array of consumer appliances. Including Washers, Dryers, Gas and Electric Ranges, Microwaves, Dishwashers and Refrigerators. This job is perfect if you like fixing things, solving problems and are self-motivated. Have a knack for troubleshooting, can manage time effectively and enjoy helping others. You need a great attitude and the ability or desire to learn.

Looking to hire experienced technicians but will train the right candidate. Wage is based on experience.

Responsibilities:

Learn to accurately diagnose and repair appliances in customer's home.

Complete reports, provide cost estimates for repairs / collect payments and information from customers for work performed.

Meet performance metrics and / or productivity goals.

Provide high quality service and customer care.

Maintain truck stock inventory.

Maintain truck keep clean and organized take for required maintenance.

Job Duties:

Conduct appliance diagnosis.

Record all activities related to repairs.

Maintain high level of skill and proficiency in appliance repair.

Attend all training, meetings and other events required.

Wear uniform and maintain standards of personal grooming and appearance.

Follow safety procedures and constant awareness for personal safety and safety of others.

Prompt and regular attendance.

Technician Requirements:

Ability or want to learn how to diagnose and repair appliances.

Provide own tools to assist with repairing appliances and be willing to acquire tools as needed.

Good communication skills.

Self-directed and solid team player who can work alone and with others.

Have verifiable work history or references.

Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and other service information.

Ability to deescalate situations and rebuild customer confidence.

Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without accommodation including but not limited to:

o Step into and out of work van.

o Ability to handle and lift and carry parts and materials min of 77 lbs.

o Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, bend, push, pull, grasp, and pinch.

o Occasional reaching overhead, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, twisting, and pivoting.
