Absco Solutions is looking for an Electrical Trainee. The Electrical Trainee assists licensed electricians with the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems while gaining hands-on experience through structured on-the-job training.

Job responsibilities include but not limited to:

Assist electricians with residential, commercial, or industrial electrical installations.

Pull wire, install conduit, mount electrical boxes, and assist with panel installations.

Read and interpret basic blueprints, wiring diagrams, and work orders.

Use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment safely and effectively.

Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting under supervision.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Load, unload, and organize materials, tools, and equipment.

Follow all OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and electrical codes.

Attend required classroom training and apprenticeship courses as applicable.

Complete assigned documentation accurately and on time.

Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications and Skills

Active Electrical Training Certificate (electrical trainee card)

High school diploma or GED

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Ability to pass a background check and drug screening (if required)

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions

Comfortable working at heights, on ladders, and in confined spaces

Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and eagerness to learn

Basic knowledge of electrical theory and hand tools

Compensation

$20 to $35 per hour depending on experience
