At Abacus Automation, we design and build custom machines for a broad range of industries. Each job brings new life and excitement to the floor. Our Design team creates a machine using a CAD program and then watches the assemblers, electricians, and programmers bring their machine to life.

Job Description:

Create designs for automation and process equipment that meet

customer specifications

Review mechanical prints for accuracy prior to release for

production

Develop documentation manual for assigned projects

Mindful of project timelines and budgets

Qualifications:

Candidate is preferred to have at least an associate degree in

mechanical engineering or 3 years experience as a machine designer

Proficient with Solid Edge or Solid Works

Ability to work as a team, with good communication skills, among

fellow employees, as well as with customers

Strong problem-solving with creative and critical thinking skills

Strong attention to detail
