POSITION PURPOSE:

Assists in the development and implementation of marketing strategies, promotions, and campaigns to increase the acquisition of memberships and member awareness concerning Credit Union products and services. Conducts market research. Supports the development and distribution of marketing, sales, and promotional materials. Provides statistical reports and recommendations to management and assists with the development plans for marketing.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

Assists in implementing strategic marketing, advertising, and sales promotions. Coordinates advertising programs and creation and distribution of advertising, marketing brochures, sales kits, or other collateral materials.

Conducts business visits to current and potential members; this will include cold calls to businesses with a defined purpose for the visit as well as promote the products and services the Credit Union has to offer with the focus on growing the membership base.

Monitors competitor rates and fees and stays up to date on developments and issues affecting Credit Union products and services, as well as being knowledgeable in all aspects of the Credit Union and the products and services offered.

Represents the credit union at public, community, and business events as well as at meetings that are scheduled and cold calls that are planned or assigned. Works with partners and other outside contacts and maintains positive, professional relationships.

Coordinates special events. Assists in planning, scheduling, and implementation as required for proper execution of the event. Coordinates the annual meeting, including production of reports, facilities arrangements, and meeting logistics. Organizes and participates in community activities to promote the Credit Union image utilizing staff to help attend and work the events.

Assists in the development and helps implement cross sell initiatives for staff to promote to members as well as keep the Credit Union staff informed on sales promotions, selling techniques, and marketing campaigns.

Aware and actively monitors the marketing budget. Keeps track of expenses for events and or business visits throughout the year.

Stays up to date on developments in the marketing field and financial trends.

Maintains Credit Union website, Facebook page, digital signs, lobby display screens and advertising in all branches.

nion branded items.

Ensures the Credit Union's professional reputation is maintained.

Dresses business appropriate during business visits and at events attended in representation of the Credit Union.
