I am an aspiring fisheries biologist about to complete my Bachelor's degree in Fisheries, Wildlife, and Conservation sciences with a focus in salmonid ecology and biology in June of 2026. I have worked as a retail sales associate for a tackle store, a shop floor assistant at a lawn and garden store, and a research assistant for the USDA-ARS foliar entomology lab, OSU Viticulture lab, and Arismendi Freshwater Ecology Lab. I have several hundred hours of field and lab experience ranging from collecting field data and performing data entry, to identifying fish and invertebrates from stomach lavage samples. I have a very strong work ethic and I play by the rules but I'm never afraid to pitch an idea if I think it will make something work better or faster. I am currently looking for seasonal positions at a state agency, but I am also interested in working any natural resources or biology centered position at the Federal, State, Private, or Corporate level.
