About
I immigrated to the U.S. from Jordan in 2013 with only a basic understanding of English. Over the next decade, I not only mastered the language but also earned a degree from the most prestigious university in Colorado, the Colorado School of Mines. Along the way, I took on multiple roles in sales and customer service, improving my communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
After graduation, I joined my father’s limousine business, where I played a key role in expanding operations. I was responsible for securing new clients, managing business relationships, and handling communications with partners on his behalf. This experience reinforced my ability to work in fast-paced environments, adapt to new challenges, and take on leadership responsibilities.
Now, I am eager to start my career in Engineering. During my time at Mines, I gained hands-on experience with CAD software and actively participated in several design projects. While my overall GPA was not high, I showed consistent improvement each semester, culminating in an Honor Roll recognition during my final term. This upward trajectory reflects my resilience, adaptability, and commitment to continuous learning.
I am looking for an opportunity to apply my technical skills and problem-solving abilities in a professional setting, where I can contribute, grow, and further develop as a mechanical engineer.
