- Over 30 years of manual lathe machining experience
- Outside diameter turning and precision boring of both large and small parts
- Drilling, tapping, grooving, and general lathe operations
- Experience machining mild steel, cast iron, 316 stainless steel, bronze, brass, and a variety of plastics
- Skilled in drilling and tapping all of the above materials
- Broaching and sawing operations
- Proficient in the use of precision measuring instruments to maintain close tolerances
- Experience assisting with CNC machining operations, including setting tool offsets and supporting machine setup
- Strong understanding of feeds, speeds, tooling selection, and safe machining practices
- Able to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
