About
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and extensive hands-on experience in the field through both professional roles and academic training. I completed a 180-hour internship with Bell County Juvenile Services, where I gained direct experience working with justice-involved youth, conducting assessments, maintaining case documentation, and applying trauma-informed care practices. I have also worked in corrections and security roles, where I became skilled in enforcing rules, monitoring behavior, de-escalating conflicts, and maintaining a safe environment in high-pressure situations. My training includes PREA compliance, crisis response, CPR/AED, and de-escalation techniques, all of which strengthen my ability to ensure safety while treating individuals with professionalism and respect. Since graduating high school, I have maintained steady employment while pursuing my degree full time, which has developed my strong work ethic, accountability, and time management skills. At 22, I bring energy, resilience, and a commitment to public service, with the proven ability to adapt quickly, build rapport with diverse populations, and perform effectively in challenging environments.
