About
My passion has always been behavioral Health and positive outcomes for clients. While working as a Mental Health therapist, I'm familiar with software programs that are designed specifically for documentation. MHR experience outside treatment, I have preformed audits on several mental health agencies. Case files for compliance with state and federal guidelines as they pertain to service delivery of behavioral health services. In addition I have experience in utilization management and prepared morbidty and mortality reviews. Analyzed utilization management of acute and sub-acute admissions.
I enjoy helping others and have 23 years of clinical experience. My experience working in The Department of Corrections gave me an opportunity in an enviroment that I ejoyed. I developed programs such as Driving Under the influence (DUI) for both male and female inmates. Other progams for Intensive Outpatient treatment for inmates that were required before being released. I developed the ACA certification prior to leaving my position. Prior to my corrections experience.
I spent several years as a therapist in community mental health, where I learn about EHR. This was far superior to writing and saved documentation . Electronic Health Records and it's software programs. This provided documentation that is shared by doctors and all support staff.
