About
As a current master’s candidate in the Foreign Policy and National Security Program at American University, combined with my hands-on congressional experience, I am uniquely positioned to contribute to your team.
My academic journey has equipped me with a deep understanding of foreign policy and national security, with a particular focus on religious extremism and counterterrorism. I have authored research using OSINT databases, applying both bivariate and OLS linear regression analysis with STATA to examine domestic extremism and its intersection with political affiliation. Additionally, my foreign policy research has included case studies of military operations in the Middle East, narcotics trafficking in Afghanistan, and U.S.-Iranian nuclear policy. These experiences have honed my ability to conduct qualitative and quantitative research, refined my analytical skills, and developed my ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
In addition to my academic pursuits, I work full-time as a Compliance Manager for Spruce Street Compliance. In this role, I manage financial operations and oversee a team of associates tasked with compliance record-keeping and accounting. Specific client deliverables include disbursements, payroll, and 1099s, as well as filing federal and non-federal campaign finance reports, according to GAAP and FEC standards. This position has expanded my expertise in federal finance and compliance law, while also enhancing my project management skills and my ability to collaborate with key political stakeholders. I formerly worked as a Compliance Associate for Angerholzer Broz Consulting. In this role, I oversaw fundraising initiatives and expenditures for fifteen members of Congress, and over thirty PACs and super PACs. This position introduced me to federal compliance law and campaign management.
