About us

Before jumping in on all the information about the role and what you can bring to the table, let us introduce ourselves real quick.

At goodcarbon, we empower leading companies to achieve their net-zero goals with confidence through high-integrity Nature-Based Solutions (NbS).

We provide an end-to-end solution that integrates advisory, technology, and exclusive project access, helping organizations make carbon credits from NbS an integral part of their carbon reduction and removal portfolios.

From defining a carbon removal strategy, to executing carbon credit purchasing programs, to portfolio management, we guide clients through the entire journey.

Our exclusive goodcarbon Originals – NbS projects designed and implemented by our team – set a new benchmark for quality, combining scientific rigor, community leadership, and biodiversity protection in some of the world’s most vital ecosystems.

Founded in 2021 in Berlin by David Diallo and Jérôme Cochet, goodcarbon is backed by top-tier investors including Ocean 14 Capital, Planet A, 468 Capital, Greenfield One, and Triodos Bank.

We are trusted by reputable clients ranging from prestigious global enterprises like Deutsche Telekom, Bertelsmann, SAP to private companies with great heritage like Miele or Melitta, and the list goes on.

Our mission goes beyond carbon. From the very beginning, David and Jérôme set out to restore ecosystems for the long term, tackling the triple crisis of Climate, Biodiversity, and Social imbalance. The shortage of truly high-quality NbS projects globally inspired us to develop our own Originals, raising the bar for integrity, transparency, and impact.

Because collective action for Nature benefits all, we co-founded the European Biodiversity Coalition – a growing alliance of 50+ European companies taking joint action for biodiversity.

Behind goodcarbon stands a passionate, interdisciplinary team that knows Nature-Based Solutions inside out – from the desktop to the field.

If you want to make a real difference and help shape the future of Nature-Based Solutions, join us on this journey.
