Job Description Maintenance Technician - Manufacturing and Production

Scentry Biologicals, Inc. | Billings, Montana

Full-Time | $25-$30/hour, DOE

Scentry Biologicals is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing operation. This position combines equipment maintenance and hands-on production work. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys troubleshooting, working with machinery, and being directly involved in the manufacturing process.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automation systems.
Repair and replace motors, pumps, bearings, belts, sensors, valves, and other components.
Assist with equipment setup, adjustments, changeovers, and improvements.
Operate production equipment and assist with manufacturing, processing, and packaging activities.
Monitor equipment and production processes for proper operation and quality.
Maintain equipment records, maintenance schedules, and critical spare parts.
Work closely with production personnel to minimize downtime and keep production on schedule.
Follow all safety, quality, and operating procedures, including compliance with OSHA regulations.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education or trade school a plus.
3+ years of industrial maintenance, manufacturing, mechanical, electrical, or related experience preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Basic electrical troubleshooting experience.
Ability to read equipment manuals, schematics, and technical documentation.
Experience with pumps, motors, bearings, controls, pneumatics, or similar equipment is a plus.
Welding/fabrication or PLC experience is a plus.
Dependable, safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.

Physical Demands
Must be able to stand for extended periods.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
