Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Greet every child and parent as you would like to be greeted daily. If I'm already greeting the child and parent the other caregiver needs to be attending to the children.

The meals will be served at the times stated on the daily schedule posted by the changing table. I will try to follow the schedule as closely as possible daily.

The children's diapers will be checked throughout the day especially after meals and before naptime. Every child needs a clean diaper before departing.

Help the children find activities to do when they are restless.

Clean the kitchen up after meals which includes dishes, tables, chairs, countertops, stove, sweeping and mopping of the floor daily, and wiping down the fronts of cabinets. Anything else that might need cleaning that day. Competency: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: Customer Service: communicates with parents at time of drop-off and pick-up, having child's belongings ready to go when parents come to pick-up the child, responds to parents needs in a timely manner.

Interpersonal Skills: listens to children and families without interrupting and allows child to communicate.

Oral Communication: speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations, uses clean child friendly language, and keep conversation respectful for children.

Teamwork: balances team and individual responsibilities

Attendance/Punctuality: is consistently at work and on time, and dressed appropriately

Dependability: follows instructions, responds to management, and completes tasks without being prompted Qualifications: Every employee has to pass a State of Montana background check. Also be 1st Aid and CPR certified every two years. The State of Montana and Stars to Quality Program require trainings each year (16 hours) some are face to face and others are online. Education: High School education or equivalent preferred, or 6 months related experience or training or both. Must be able to pass background check Pay range is between $12 - $18 and hour, depending on experience. Annual raises included. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple or detailed written or oral instructions; ability to deal with problems as they arise with children, co-workers, and parents. Physical Demands: Requires lots of standing and walking throughout the facility. Also lifting children to get them onto the diaper changing table or into highchairs; etc.
