We are seeking a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong customer service background who is interested in building a long-term career in the insurance industry.

Position Summary

The Customer Service Representative will be the first point of contact for our clients, assisting with phone calls, customer inquiries, policy service requests, and general office support. No insurance license is required to start; however, candidates must be willing to obtain their Michigan Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance License within a designated timeframe after hire.

Responsibilities

Provide outstanding customer service by phone, email, and in person

Answer incoming calls and direct clients to the appropriate team members

Assist customers with policy inquiries and service requests

Obtain and update client information in agency systems

Process paperwork and maintain accurate customer records

Support licensed agents with administrative tasks and underwriting information

Follow up with clients regarding documentation and policy needs

Maintain a professional and positive experience for all customers

Perform other general duties as needed

Qualifications

Previous customer service experience required

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Professional phone etiquette

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

Strong attention to detail

Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office applications

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Positive attitude and willingness to learn

High school diploma or equivalent required

Licensing Requirement

This position does not require an insurance license at the time of hire. However, candidates must be willing and able to obtain their Michigan Property & Casualty Insurance License within an agreed-upon timeframe.
